I am happy to share my projects using VaradaSharma Designs, of May Release 2021 “Hope & Dream”, which she generously shared with me. Thanks so much, Varada for this awesome opportunity.
Over to my projects.
This release is loaded with pretty spring elements and I have chosen ‘Wish you were here’ digital stamp set for today.
Card 1
Steps:
Printed the digi on a grayscale mode on a watercolor paper (Canson Montval 300gsm) to attempt no-line watercoloring.
Printed the florals in such a way to frame the sentiment.
Colored using Prima Watercolor Confections -Tropicals.
After watercoloring, generously splashed the floral spray with white acrylic paint.
Then used MFT A2 stitched Rec Stax set dies to die cut the colored panel (except the second largest die).
This gave such a beautiful visual texture on the colored focal panel.
Mounted the die cut pieces together in place onto a cairo cream colored A2 cardbase using liquid and foam adhesives as well for dimensions.
Card 2
Steps:
Printed the digi onto Strathmore Toned gray sketch paper.
Colored the digi using Brustro Artists Colored pencils.
White get pen used for the floral centres.
Diecut using largest die from MFT A2 stitched Rec Stax set.
Mounted onto the A2 sized black cardbase.
Few clear dew droplets are added to finish off the card.
