2-for-1 cards by Sandhya using Peony Love stamp set

Hello friends! Welcome back to another post from me, Sandhya of Sanju’s Creations. Today I am sharing two cards I created by splitting up Varada Sharma’s Peony Love Digital Stamp Set. I hope you like them.

I started by enlarging the digital image and reducing its opacity using the Procreate app on my iPad. Once it was light enough for no-line coloring, I printed it using my inkjet printer on Cason XL Watercolor paper. I used Distress Reinkers to watercolor today’s cards.

I picked out Mustard seed, Crackling Campfire, Rustic Wilderness, Mowed Lawn and Salty Ocean for my palette today. Later I ended up adding a little of Picked Raspberry to the deepen the oranges towards the base. The blue was mainly to mix a dark shade for the center of the flowers. Once I was done coloring the images, I cut up the sheet into 2 card panels.

I added some details using color pencils and a white gel pen. Next, I trimmed down the panels to be a little smaller than an A2 card front. I used my corner rounder to add some interest to the panels. I die cut sentiments using dies from Concord and 9th and The Greetery. I added a dash of color to the sentiments using the leftover color on my glass mat.

Finally, I added the sentiments on to the panels and popped them on A2 cream card bases using foam tape. I also added some iridescent orange sequins to add a touch of glam.

Here’s a closer look at the individual cards.
