3 cards with no stamping

Hi friends, I hope all your shopping, packing etc is done for this big season of gifting. I have three last holiday cards to share with you which will less than 5 mins each to make.

Card 1:

This card really came together in 5 mins! The whole flower cluster was one continuous sticker in the sticker sheet. And the sentiment is also a sticker :-) I simply added the stickers onto the card base with foam tape.

Here’s a tip – the foam tape will lift up the sticker up while the sticky part on the sticker itself, will try to adhere to the card base by itself and make the whole design lopsided. To avoid this I like to run my embossing powder tool around the sticker part after I add the foam tape, but before I take the backing paper off from foam tape. The powder removes the exposed stickies from the sticker and after removing the release paper from tape, the only sticky left on it is the one from foam tape itself. :-)

Ok, back to this card. The flower cluster sticker is wider than an A2 card, so I had to trim the sides. Instead of discarding the leaves that got cut off, I layered them, I added them directly to the card base creating layers on the card. To finish off the card, I added several sequins and enamel dots.

And the final card for this year’s season’s greetings. Popup two of the sentiment rectangles from Mint Wishes patterned paper by Kaisercraft, add a sticker evergreen tree on one end and embellish with green and gold stickles. Done!

Similar design and steps – a sentiment strip from a PinkFresh Studio Christmas Wishes patterned paper, a large’ish sticker from the same collection and a few matching enamel dots on a textured card base. Done!

Hope you liked these cards and give ideas like these a try.

I would also like to take this opportunity to wish you a very happy holidays season and an excellent new year! Hope you get lots of opportunities to be creative, to experiment, to explore and get all the love and affection in the world.
