Hi everyone, I am sure you have seen the gorgeous new dies by Becca Feeken - the ones from her Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes collection. Mostly what I noticed what delicate cards with flowers on them, and I wanted to try something a little bit different. So I paired it with some fun coffee-themed patterned paper to make a coffee-themed Easel card.
The card looks like this when it comes out of an envelope:
When you open it and set up the easel, it looks like this:
And from the top, it looks like this:
Key Ingredients:
Birthday Wishes Vignette Etched Dies from Spellbinders
Brewtiful Day Paper Pad by Craft Smart®
Steps:
Lots of die cutting:
Use only the outer frame to cut the green-ish patterned paper
Use the same frame + the inside intricate die to cut the pink design. Do not use the two inner most dies, so that the inside area will not be cut out.
Use the inside frame without the birthday wishes die on one of the designs from patterned paper
Fold a Neenah Desert Storm cardstock in half and cut out the shaped cardbase using the outermost frame. Make sure to place the die so that a little portion at the top has the fold and the fold does not get cut out, it stays connected.
Fussy cut the macaroons, another stripe of sentiment, and a blueberry muffin from the patterned paper.
Fold the bottom half of the front of the cardbase to create the easel.
Assemble with dimensional and flat adhesive as shown.
