Hi friends, I have one more card using Altenew Perfectly Perfect stamp set before I head out for the weekend. I am also thinking of taking a few days break after we come back. {But I will share normal life stuff from time to time on Instagram. I’d love it if you’d join me there. Look me up as @varadsharma, ok?}
So, over to the card for today:
I created a bunch of flowers and leaves at one go – all from Perfectly Perfect stamp set. Stamped them using Memento Tuxedo black ink, colored using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and fussy cut them out using Tonic Studios mini snips.
The colors I used were the ones below:
I wanted the background to be something extra for this card, but I didn’t want to use any patterned paper etc, so I decided to add some subtle details by stamping. I used one of the thin, long brush stroke image from Simon Says Stamp Brush Stroke Messages stamp set with Simon Says Stamp Barely Beige ink and repeatedly stamped it using my Fiskars stamp press.
Next I stamped my sentiment using same black ink towards the middle of my card and arranged my flowers and leaves above and below that. Once I was happy with the arrangement, I adhered all the flowers and leaves – some using multi medium matte (liquid adhesive) and some using foam tape. All around the flowers, I also added sequins again using multi medium matte adhesive. As a final touch, I added tiny black dots / circles using my Prismacolor .005 black pen and added a touch of shimmer to the flowers and leaves using Wink of Stella clear glitter pen.
I really went to town with so many colors, sequins, shimmer and stamped / doodled stuff on the background. This card was oh so much fun to create. Hope you like it and give these ideas a try.
