Hi friends, I am trying to savor the last couple days of winter break with more crafting :) and I have a video for you with this one.
I made a card with a split-heart necklaces on it and the hearts say “Best Friends”. Eeeee!!! I am so in love with this! My girls have been through the phase where they were always wanting these for their friends and I am happy now we have a die set to recreate some of that magic on paper.
For the background I used Quilted Hearts background stamp and Hot Mama ink from Simon Says Stamp. All the papers including the cardbase for this project came from this month’s card kit.
Once I had assembled the heart necklaces I felt like it needed just a little something more, so I added a couple floral clusters made using this month’s Small Die of the Month kit. Lastly a few Rainbow Sparkle gems from Little things from Lucy’s cards and this project was done.
Here’s a detailed video with lots of tips. And yes, this month’s Spellbinders Small Die of the Month kit is also making a guest-appearance in this video. Do check it out:
Recently I was reminded of the big question – “why do you craft?”. For me I think crafting is as much about spreading kindness & joy as it is about self-expression. So, I am off to send a little cheer to some recipient with this card :) I’d encourage you to do the same. In 2020, let’s spread some cheer.
