I think I am obsessed with this stamp set. Yes, the Dancing Florals is my current favorite toy. :D
Today, I would like to share the next (hopefully last for the next few days) card using this set. I am sure this set will keep making a reappearance often in the days/weeks to come. But for now, I am going to set it aside and show some love to the other sets too. {Don't want them to feel neglected. Oops!}
So, here's the card.
Like some of the special cards, this one came to me while I was trying to sleep and then it would not let me rest. So the next day as soon as I could, I made this card.
I started by creating three arched die-cut pieces using nested dies from Scrapbook.com and colored cardstock. All these three came from a single pack of cardstock (linked below). On each of these, I stamped and white heat embossed my images and then set them aside.
Next, I worked on the card base, the inside insert, and a sentiment strip for the outside. For this one, I wanted a lean/skinny sentiment on the outside with a more flourish-y wish on the inside. In my stash, I had some handmade paper. For both these sentiment panels, I used pieces of that. Keeping the pattern of arch - I rounded one side of the skinny sentiment strip as well as two corners of the panel inside. I also rounded two corners of the card itself.
Finally, I assembled all the pieces and finished off with gold gems. Love how it turned out.
