Busy patterned papers and a quick way to use them in CAS cards

A simple card recipe for you for today - when time is of utmost importance and you just need to create a card so that you can breathe for a moment...

- Cut a 12x12 paper into half - you will get 2 panels that are 12x6. Cut one of them into half again to get 2 panels that are 3x6. We are going to use these to make 2 similar cards today.

- Take a 6x6 patterned paper and cut it into half to get two 3x6 panels. I wanted to challenge myself to use up my busy patterned papers, so I used this rainbow-themed one.

- On each of them add some simple black and white focal points. One of the ones you see here (on the right) is my experiment with the Spellbinders Glimmer platform and PinkFresh Studio plate to make it look like Better Press. The other one is an absolutely beautiful layering flower die from Memory Box.

This is fast becoming my go-to way for creating mini slimline cards - use 12x12 base papers and 6x6 papers for background. No waste / no scraps of either paper.
