Card idea using Dec 2019 Amazing Paper Grace die of the Month from Spellbinders

Hi guys, ready for one more card idea? Today I am playing with Dec 2019 Amazing Paper Grace die of the Month from Spellbinders. Becca is simply a die designing genius. I adore her designs and this month’s kit does not disappoint. It’s really meant to add an instant wow-factor to your cards.

I decided to step out of my comfort zone as far as colors are concerned here. But overall I am happy with the results. :) I used gold and black papers from Spellbinders previous card kits to cut out my rose-y die cuts. This would be my main focal point for the card.

Then I used a patterned paper from Jen Hadfield’s Heart of Home collection from Pebbles to cut out a rectangle panel smaller than my cardbase. I also cut out a black panel slightly larger than the patterned paper panel to mat it. I layered everything together using some double sided flat tape and some foam tape.

Finally, I added a sentiment sticker from this month’s card kit (also available as extras, sold separately), sprinkled a couple gems (linked below) and called it done.
