Hi guys, another chapter in the new series #DigiStampTechniques. Today’s card uses alcohol markers for coloring the images.
I started by designing my card layout in Microsoft PowerPoint. I find this as my go-to program for manipulating images. This or Pages on Mac. Both allow me to freely place my images anywhere on the canvas (page). To help me with exact placement of my motifs, I drew an A2 sized rectangle (4.25×5.5 inches). I placed my flowers and leaves around it the way I wanted and then printed it on cardstock. I also typed my sentiment and placed it in multiple places.
I could have traced this image also using Copic® Multiliner Black Pen to make it water and copic (alcohol ink markers) proof. However, this time I decided to leave it as is. I colored this one with Spectrum Noir markers.
I die cut the whole thing out using Memory Box Wrapped Stitch Rectangles. I used craft foam to mount my rectangle on the card base. Finally, I sprinkled several sequins and gems.
