Hello everyone, Happy Monday!!! Hope you all are doing great.
Today I created this slim-line card for your inspiration, for the April month challenge. The theme for the month is Earth Day.
About me, I’m Dipti Shukla owner of Dipti Arts Studio and I belong to Lucknow,(U.P) India. If you guys know me Instagram and Pinterest are my go to places for inspiration.
So let’s get started.
I created the layout with the stamp set “Camellia Frames” and used “Beautiful Birthday” stamp set for the sentiment. I choose two different images here but you can choose to go with a single image too.
Then I colored the flowers and the petals with my Staedtler watercolor pencil and give it a watercolor look. I pick the lightest shade of Blue and Greens available for this step.
After that I let the colors dry completely and then added a lots of shading. I blended the lighter and darker shades with white color pencil. It works for me and then as a final touch I added some gray shade in the nooks and corners for some depth.

For my next step I added a greenish bluish kind of colored card stock or you can say bottle green colored card stock as extra layer, to give the front panel a border.
And added the card front to the card base as a final step.
And the card is ready.
This is a classic example for how you can create a beautiful card with just a single image. You don’t have to buy the whole range. Just a single image is enough to start with.
