One more happy Diwali card today, guys. And this time I used the Circular Lace stencil from Simon Says Stamp.

I started by die cutting a stitched rectangle from SSS 120 lb white cardstock and then taped it to my work mat. I placed the stencil on top and taped that one also. Once everything was secure, I went in with mini ink blending tools and blended three colors of distress inks – Abandoned Coral, Mermaid Lagoon and Fossilized Amber. The stencil left beautiful, intricate design which is totally swoon-worthy.
Instead of the sentiment, I die cut the word ‘happy’ using Mama Elephant Happy Script word die from a black cardstock and die cut the letters DIWALI using Spellbinders Etched Alphabet dies.
I assembled everything, mounted on a black card base and used Crayola fine line markers to highlight the words/letters.
