Hi friends, today I have a masculine card to share with you for the upcoming Father’s day (June 17th). I used a new-to-me company’s stamp set – Kaisercraft’s Factory 42 clear stamp set – for this card. I also used a color combination which is unusual for me. I stepped out of my pink-teal-yellow-green colors to play with Simon Says Stamp Goldenlocks, Steel Blue and Slate.
To begin, I started with a panel cut from white cardstock that was slightly less wide than my A2 cardbase. This is a ready-to-use note card that I had picked up in a pack from my local Joanns. On this panel, I stamped several different images from the Factory 42 stamp set. I alternated my images in three colors I had picked.
For the sentiment, I added the die cut word ‘thank you’ which I die cut using textured black cardstock and also from some black fun foam. I adhered the two together to give it some dimension. This die came in Hero Arts March 2018 My Monthly Hero kit.
I also used Slate ink and the words ‘for everything’ to stamp it right below the die cut ‘thank you’. This word stamp is from Hero Arts Thanks stamp and die set.
For the inside of the card, I stamped ‘Happy Father’s Day’ image from Factory 42 set using Steel Blue ink. (Sorry, I did not take a picture of this. Oops..)
