Hello my dear crafty friends, I have been missing in action for the longest time ever since I started blogging, I think. Well, just in case you are worried about me: all is well. I am fine, family okay, everything is good. In fact, everything is more than awesome right now. :-)
After about 5 years of living in the US, we have finally moved into our own house! Yes, a dream come true!! So I have been extremely busy, super-duper excited and feel like I am smiling constantly :-) Kanhaji has been extremely kind to us!!
Here are some of the pictures that were put up by the old owners when they listed this house. We were so excited about getting everything settled in here that we did not take pictures of empty rooms. We got our old stuff, ordered a ton of new stuff and went right back to living with it. But I will be doing room tours in the coming few months and you will get to see any new DIYs that I try. I promise.
So without further ado, let me show you our new home. Here’s the front entrance and porch:
Here’s the front entrance and porch:
This leads to a hallway/entry way

At this point, the hallway opens up to three rooms – living room in the front, a study/home-office on the right and a formal dining room on the left. We are planning to convert the formal dining room to a media room/sitting area.

Next to the living room is our kitchen and breakfast nook/dining area.

The breakfast area opens up to a large, beautiful backyard
On the upper level, we have four bedrooms.

We also have a 2 car garage that has entry way through the backyard.
And here’s my handsome husband on the day we got our house keys. We have been married for over 12 years now and he still melts my heart {blush blush}

This is a beautiful, well-maintained house. The yard is gorgeous and that is where I have been spending a lot of my time lately. It truly feels like a dream to be living here. I am so grateful to my Kanhaji and to all of you for your blessings, well wishes and good vibes because of which all this has been possible.
How does all this impact the blog? Well not much, really! I am hoping to ease back into my blogging rhythm slowly. We should be talking about paper crafting as usual, plus I am also thinking of incorporating easy home DIYs for home decor and more. Sounds like fun? Keep watching this space then.
I will talk to you soon,
Big Hugs! ~Varada
