Hi friends, today's card is one which I am not sure I wanted to share, but somehow I am sharing it.
The steps and the ingredients are almost same as this card here. I did use the same stamp set - With a grateful heart stamp set (on varadasharma.com | on etsy.com). This time I created an overall card front design and cut out a rectangle using Memory Box Wrapped Stitch Rectangles die. For coloring, I used Derwent Inktense pencils with water.
Then I attempted to do something I wasn't 100% sure of and it did not turn out well at all. I tried to add Bark color which is a gray/black color from Inktense pencils for my background. I did not do a good job on this and almost ruined the card. :(
But then I decided to salvage the work. I fussy cut each of the flower clusters and mounted them on a black rectangle die cut with the same Memory Box die. I added glitter to flower centers and a sentiment sticker from Simple Stories Cottage Fields Sticker Book. Lastly I added it to a standard A2 sized card base to finish the project.
I am not very happy even now with how this turned out. Will experiment with one other idea and share later.
