Today, I want to stand on top of a building that “my crafty friends are the best!”. My friends from Instagram – Subhashini and Chandhini – are amazing – they are so good at crafting. You should check out their feed – on Instagram they go by @crafty_sistahs. They won a giveaway from Unity Stamp company and because of the chaos with shipping asked them to deliver their prize here at my house. AND they let me use the stamps for crafting before I can take it to them when I visit India next time. What did I say? My crafty friends are THE BEST!!
The prize consisted of two beautiful girl images that I just could not resist inking up. But, coloring skin in not my forte yet, and it does intimidate me. So, I resorted to something much simpler yet gorgeous – ink squishing! :) Here are my two cards:

Unity stamp company – Planner girl – Love them

Distress inks – Salty Ocean, Picked Raspberry and Mustard Seed
Distress Oxide inks – Tumbled Glass, Festive Berries, Squeezed Lemonade
Ranger Mini Misters
Memory Box Wrapped Rectangles die set
Archival Black ink
Steps
Cut two watercolor paper panels using Memory Box Wrapped Rectangles die set
Use MISTI and stamp the images and sentiment using Archival Black ink
Take a piece of packaging material or acetate and squish one color of ink on it. Spray water with mini misters till you see drops of colors forming. Take this piece to the watercolor panel and transfer ink to it.
Repeat with other colors, creating some areas where the colors can mix.
Foam mount the panels on card base or another piece of colorful patterned paper.
Finish off by adding individual pieces of glitter.
