Just For You – Guest post by Joy Dsouza

Hello there my crafty friends! I hope you are having a lovely week. I am Joy Dsouza from HandCraftedByJoy.com, and today I would like to share the second card I made as the Guest Designer for Varada Sharma.

My card features the following stamp sets

Steps:

  1. I started by creating the scene in Photoshop.

  2. Next, I printed it on Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock and trimmed it to 4 1/4 * 5 1/2 inches using my trimmer.

  3. I also printed the images on a masking sheet, fussy cut them using my cutter bee scissors and stuck them on the card panel.

  4. Then I masked the ground using memo tape.

  5. Next, I placed the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil by My Favorite Things on the card panel and inked it using Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks along with my blender brushes.

  6. To add dimension, I smooshed the ink pads on my media mat, sprayed water on it and used a round brush to splattered the ink on the panel.

  7. After that, I unmasked the images and used my Copic Markers to colour them.

  8. Lastly, I stuck this card panel on an A2 card base using art glitter glue.
