Layering Paper Shapes – Repeated Die Cuts

Hi friends! Ready for a fun twist in layering paper shapes? Today we are playing with a single die. Ready?

Layering Paper Shapes - 7

I wanted this card to be kinda repeating a same shape in two different colors. So I die cut the looks-like-clover shape in black and gold. Then I arranged the shapes on the card front.

To be honest, some of my die cuts were partial because I was trying to save my paper. ;-) I used that to my advantage here and arranged the shape to look like it is falling out from the edges of the card front.

I adhered some using multi medium matte and the rest using foam adhesive. Finally I layered the sentiment sticker on top of the cluster of shapes using some foam adhesive. For some added interest, I also attached a mini clothes pin. I got these as a pack from Target $1 bin a long time ago and I am still using them.

Finally I attached a few sequins and added a few black liquid pearl dots to complete this project.
