Layering Paper Shapes – Wedding Card using Spellbinders + Wplus9 Supplies

Hi friends, today I have white and gold wedding card to share with you. I’m so hoping the folks who got it love it too ;-)

Layering Paper Shapes - 2

To make this card, I started by die cutting the heart border / banner using a die from Spellbinders large die of the month Feb 2018 kit from a gold mirrored cardstock. I used the tool-in-one to take out those tiny little cut pieces.

Next I prepared my cardbase. On one corner of the card, I stamped a peony flower and a leaf cluster using Tsukineko galaxy gold ink. I used the same ink and stamped the words ‘wedding’ and ‘wishes’. All these stamped images and sentiments come from Wplus9 stamp sets. I am a huge fan of their floral designs and beautiful fonts. For this particular card I found that the image on the ephemera card from Spellbinders kit went very well with the images from Wplus9 stamps.

Once all the stamping was done, I adhered the lattice heart border using liquid glue and foam mounted the ephemera piece. Finally, I finished the project by adding a few enamel dots in gold.

I hope you liked this idea too. I’d encourage you to go ahead and mix-and-match your supplies. Who know what beautiful combinations you will discover? :-)
