Hello and welcome to my space, friends! Today I have a black, white and gold Valentine-ish / love-themed card for you.
For this one, I used Spellbinders Small Die of the month for Feb 2018 along with their Feb 2018 card kit. To start, I die cut the large heart border from small die of the month using gold mirrored cardstock. I also die cut a gold rose using die from the card kit.
Using the same heart die from small die of the month kit, I die cut a heart using a black and white patterned paper from the kit + a chipboard packaging material. I layered the two together using multi medium matte glue to give the heart some stability. This small die kit itself is already sold out, but similar designs can be made using some other dies like may be a wreath die? That will be fun to try for sure.
I also used the mini envelope + letter from the card kit. Using one of the stamps from Altenew Sentiments and Quotes stamp set, I stamped ‘You Are Amazing!’ on the little letter. To fit into the little letter, I had to cut this one stamp into two. For a little fun, I added a sticker that says ‘a little note’ – this came from the card kit too.
Finally, I assembled the card as you see here and embellished it with a few gold heart confetti pieces and called this project done.
