Love Spellbinders Cardmaker Stamp Collection

Hello everyone, before we get to the card for today, I wanted to make sure you all know of the several different giveaways happening and about to happen on my Instagram. If you are not following me there, please do so that you don’t miss out all the fun :-)

Alright now for the card for today. I combined the Love block stamp set with Deco Bloom dies, with an somewhat unusual-for-me color combo. I am “love”-ing it ;-) Ok, ok, enough of my puns – see for yourself :-)

Key Ingredients:

  1. Love Block Clear Stamp Set from Cardmaker Stamp Collection

  2. Deco Bloom Etched Dies from Stained Glass Bouquet Collection

Steps:

  1. On a 5×7 cardbase stamp the large LOVE stamp using Eclipse Black ink from Maker Forte. I am loving this ink so far. It stamps nice and crisp the first time most of the time. I did use MISTI (habit!) but even for such a large stamp, I did not have to repeat stamp at all.

  2. Color with pencils. I used multiple different types of pencils, but didn’t use any water at all. Just plain old coloring with pencils.

  3. Die cut the large frame from Deco Bloom die set 5 time using white cardstock and once using gold mirror cardstock. Layer and adhere them with multi medium matte liquid glue. I could have made this into a shaker card, but decided not to because of the dainty frame with lots of open spaces. I didn’t want my sequins / shaker fillers to get stuck in odd places in that frame.

  4. Also die cut all the layers for a couple flowers using same die set. I die cut the bases from white cardstock and the top frame using same gold mirror cardstock as the frame. I used the same colored pencils to color the white cut outs and layered them together with liquid glue.

  5. Assemble and enjoy! I decided to skip adding any more bling / gems etc since this design has a lot going on for it anyways.
