Hello everyone, hope you all are doing great. I’m Dipti Shukla owner of Dipti Arts Studio and I am excited to bring you a colorful, layered card. This month in India we celebrate the festival of colors and here I have tried to combine several of my favorite ones. Yes, Pinterest helped with inspiration :)
Key Ingredients:
Digital stamps from our March 2021 ‘You Are Stronger’ release – Freesia stamp Landscape, Pretty Little Tulips and Flowers for my Friend.
Purple cardstock
Watercolor paper
Watercolors
Digi Stamps / sentiment stamps (for sentiments)
Rectangular Dies
Steps:
Let’s start with our card
I created a cluster from the stamp set “Freesia stamp Landscape” and “Pretty Little Tulips” to create a handing flower look from top to bottom. And also added half of the sentiment from stamp set “Flowers for my Friend”.
I colored the flowers and the petals with watercolor. I added lots of shading and colors, to make it colorfull.
For the next step I die cut out the center part of the card front to make a window as you can see.
Then add the dimensional tap on the window piece.
Then added both the pieces on the card, the inner piece with liquid glue and the window piece with the dimensional tape or foam tap to give it a raised look.
And for the final step I added the Birthday sentiment from the same stamp set. Added some foam tape under the sentiment as well for the support and stick it just above the wishes sentiment.
And the card is ready. :)
