Pencil Coloring on Off White Card

Hi friends… Another pencil coloring card today – this time on Simon Says Stamp Cream Off-white paper. I think I like this one better than the last one, but I definitely need lot more practice for sure :-)

I started by stamping with heat embossing the center cut flowers image on my side folding A2 card. I used Simon Says Stamp Steel Navy embossing powder. Next I colored

  1. the flowers using Prismacolor pencils – PC903 and PC904.

  2. flower centers using PC916

  3. leaves using PC910 and PC912

  4. the in-between areas using a very light hand of PC909

Lastly I added pink flat backed gems from Hero Arts in all the little dots.

For my sentiment stripe, I stamped the words “Love & Hugs” using Simon Says Stamp Island Blue ink. Before mounting it on foam tape, I added a gold outline using decocolor gold marker.

Hope you give this idea a try and let me know if you have some favorite tips for pencil coloring. :-) Thanks for all your love!
