When I designed the stamp set Modern Bouquet I wanted the design itself to be self-sufficient - even when it is not a solid stamp, it has so many details that it can stand on its own. That's what I used in today's card.
Hi everyone, I am back with another card using my latest release with RubberStamps.com. It's a top-folding, mini slimline card. To create the cardbase, I used pink 12x12 paper and cut it at 3.5". Then I scored it in the middle to make it a 3.5" x 6" card.
All these flowers on the card are simply white heat embossed on a pink colored cardstock. No coloring or ink blending at all.
I used MISTI with Simon Says Stamp Clear sticky ink + Ultra Fine detail white powder on a pink cardstock to heat emboss all the flowers. Then I used Brother Scan-n-Cut to cut them out. In the second image, the cut got too close to the white edges, so I used them on the sides of my card and trimmed the parts that looked a little bit wonky. Only the main image closest to the sentiment is foam-mounted. For everything else, I used my trusted liquid glue.
The sentiment came from the Garden Delight stamp set and I heat-embossed this directly on the card front. A generous sprinkle of Pretty Pink Posh gems and the card was done.
I hope you like it and give this idea a try. Do check out my stamp sets, they are at an introductory offer of 25% off currently.
