Rock City, Chattanooga

“God Bless You, Swati.”, is all I could say to her. It was on her and Mr. C’s insistence that I stepped out of my 12th floor sanctuary on 9th June to go to Chattanooga. It was one of the best decisions I took.

Spread over 4000 ft. on the Lookout Mountain, Tennessee Rock City offers a walking trail with a breathtakingly beautiful waterfall; places from where you can watch white deers (yes!) and pretty little birds; the “See Seven States” view and more. It’s so easy to lose yourself in the Enchanted Trail and the Mother Goose Village.

Start of the trail:

At this point there’s a neat little fast food center. We had cheese pizza and cheese Nachos here.

I hope Swati does not kill me putting this picture up, but look at the surroundings. Pretty, pretty, pretty.

(It was sort of dark and had neon kind of lights in there. Could not take good pictures, but the place was wow to be sure.)

All around us there were flowers, ferns and mother nature’s grandeur.

This is one place I am surely taking Mr C, Diyu and Akshi and when they come over.

If you happen to be in this part of the world and have about a day or two to spare, do visit this place. It’ll be time well spent.

Enjoy,
