Simon Says Stamp Diecember 2017 – card inspiration 1

Hello friends! It is 1st December!! That means it’s time for a month long party at Simon Says Stamp – it is SSS Diecember 2017!

A huge thanks to SSS for sending me Corbel Curved Border Die. Today I am sharing my first card inspiration using this die. (I have two more that I will share in the coming days.)

This die itself is so beautiful, it does not need many additional decorations at all. For this card, I did something really simple.

I made this card with textured white cardstock. For the front panel, I die cut the bottom part using SSS Corbel Curved Border die. This is an intricate die and I had to use the Spellbinders tool-in-one to take off all the little pieces.

Next I cut out a banner using gold glitter cardstock and adhered it to the top left corner using foam tape. I also cut out a rectangle panel from the same cardstock and attached it to the inside of the card, under the die cut border.

Finally, I attached a gold glitter sticker ‘Joy’ from My Mind’s Eye Christmas on Market Street collection and called this card done.

Love how it turned out. Hope you like it too!
