A very very simple and quick Mother’s Day card to share today, friends. I taught this as a class to my younger one’s girl scouts troop last weekend:

I used Spellbinders etched alphabet dies – the letter M and die cut it twice using blue paper from my stash. I think this was a cardstock I had got from my local Joann’s store.
Next I used the Butterfly Flutter die set to die cut flowers and leaves. I layered the flowers using foam square and leaves underneath the flower using liquid glue. I also used a silver sequin in the center of the flower.
I arranged M-flower-M on top of my card inside my MISTI and stamped the sentiment “Happy Mother’s Day” using black archival ink. Finally I adhered the M-flower-M on top of my sentiment and called this project done.
The girls in our scout troop were so happy playing with the die cutting machine and cutting flowers out. They also die cut a few flowers to take home with them. It was a fun meeting for sure.
