So much to be thankful for

Hello friends, I am in the full swing of making cards and gifts for Thanksgiving / Christmas / New Year. This truly is the best time of the year, right? :-) Today’s card is another thankfulness card where I did a lot of playing with patterned papers + used a sentiment from SSS Thankful Heart stamp set.

In SSS November card kit there is a patterned paper with rows of mason jars with a heart in the center and flowers on its side. I used that tiny image as my inspiration. I also cut out a single row from that paper and adhered it using foam tape near the base of my card panel. This row anchored my design.

Oh before adhering it down, I used my MISTI and archival black ink to add the sentiment to my panel.

Next I used some other papers from the same kit to punch out a few flowers (ochre and blue ones) and leaves. I also combined this design with one other flower from my stash.

I fussy cut a larger mason jar image from Dear Lizzy Neapolitan 6×6 paper pad by American crafts. There are stamps & dies that can be used instead or even some journaling cards that come with mason jar images. Plenty of options here and I will link to some of them below.

I die cut the smaller stitched heart from MFT stax dies and another patterned paper and added it to the center of my mason jar. Finally I assembled everything and finished it off with gemstones at the center of each flower + heart and a strip of washi tape at the top.

Totally love how this one turned out! Click here to see other cards I made using this same card kit.
