Hi friends, hope you all are excited about receiving your kits from Spellbinders. If you are not already a subscriber, please use one of the links below to Subscribe now. These kits are such great value for money. And if you are on the fence about any long term commitments to the subscription, you need not worry – you can skip a month or even Cancel anytime. If that also does not convince you completely just yet, you might want to try getting a few of the Card Club Kit extras to play with and test these kits a bit. The extras are available to be purchased separately and you don’t have to be a Club member to buy these.
Today I am sharing here 4 cards that I made just with these Card Club Kit Extras – I did add a little bit of ink, sequins, nuvo drops and adhesives myself, but all the main pieces are part of Card Club Kit Extras for this month:
Card 1:
Adhered pieces from the die cut shapes pack (ephemera) and one puffy sticker. To make the main sentiment sticker, I added a scalloped circle under it. This was leftover from another project and it used the black cardstock that came in the kit as well as Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Scalloped Circles Small Etched Dies. As an little extra something, I stamped the tiny little flower from the stamp set with Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick ink and added couple sequins. These sequins came from one of Spellbinders older card kits (linked below).
Card 2:
Using MISTI, I laid out my dancer girl stamp and stamped her twice using the Archival black ink – once on the cardbase and another time overlapping my sentiment circle. Then I removed the sentiment circle and stamped + heat embossed her dress. I don’t have pink embossing powder, so I stamped multiple times using MISTI – first using Versamark ink and on top using the same distress oxide worn lipstick ink. I added Wow Cloud 9 glitter embossing powder and heat embossed it. This embossing powder is mostly clear except for the glitter, so it brings out the underlying pink color of my distress oxide ink. Colored ink + clear embossing powder = embossing with colored powder (well, almost). I stamped the tiny flower again and also added three little confetti circles. These circles were the negative part of the tags that were included in the kit (these tags are not part of the extras for this month).
Card 3:
Easy peasy – arranged the pieces, added some foam adhesive + some liquid adhesive and added sequins from my stash.
Card 4:
Arranged pieces, added foam + liquid adhesive, added nuvo drops in
There you have it – multiple ideas to create with the Card Club extras. Let me know which one you liked best :-)
