Hi guys, I am here with one more card idea using Spellbinders Card Kit club goodies. As soon as I saw this journaling card in the kit that showed ‘HI’ highlighted amongst all the other letters, I just had to pair it with something that says “gorgeous” :-) And that’s exactly what I did with this collage card
It’s pretty straightforward with this one. I made a collage, using the party hat / cap for a bouquet to hold my flowers and a leaf. I arranged that and a butterfly on the journaling card and added a sentiment strip that says ‘gorgeous’ just under the ‘hi’. Also towards the bottom, I added a stripe of patterned paper + a very thing strip of gold mirrored cardstock for some extra interest.
At this point, the card was pretty much done, but I felt like it needed just one more flower. I did not have a flower small enough that could fit into the space there, so before I adhered the journaling card to cardbase, I directly stamped a flower image from the Golden Swan clear stamp set with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide just before adhering the journaling card to card base. Finishing touches? Sequins from the kit and Wink of Stella on letters ‘Hi’ and flower centers.
