Hello crafty people, I have a fun summery card to share with you today which uses just the card kit extras for this month. I used the stamp set, a few pieces from ephemera and a sentiment sticker.
Directly on my cardbase I stamped a partial background with two images from the stamp set – the whole slice of the citrus fruit and the half one. Both these images could work as lemon (stamp with yellow color), or lime (stamp with green) as well. I only used pink to match the pink drink ephemera piece. Worn Lipstick distress oxide ink worked great for this stamping.
I also picked a single leaf image from the Watercolor stamp set that came a few months ago. I stamped it twice with a single color distress oxide ink Cracked Pistachio. To get a variation in color – I stamped first and then without re-inking stamped again. In some tiny areas, I stamped just a part of the leaf to cover the area. I also used green ink from Studio G just a tiny bit.
Once all the stamping was done, I adhered my drink bottle, a slice of pink citrus fruit (grapefruit, may be?) and a pink fruit. I used foam adhesive and liquid adhesive to make this cluster. I also added a single sentiment sticker on top that says “You are my main squeeze”.
A few gems from Rainbow Sparkle collection from Little Things from Lucy finished this card. :-)
