Spellbinders | Card kit of the month | Adding interest with small stamped images

Hi friends, I am still playing Spellbinders July 2018 card kit. Today’s card it a feathery fun one.

This kit had two beautiful feathers in gray-gold, red-gold colors. I wanted to use these with a tiny little sentiment as my focal point. I used a few graphic / modern stamp images from Simon Says Stamp Birthday Bits stamp set to enhance the backdrop of these three pieces and make it a cohesive card.

To keep with the red-gold theme, I used VersaColor Raspberry ink and Tsukineko Galaxy Gold ink. I also stamped the sentiment “sending” in raspberry ink to make the whole thing say, “sending love and laughter”. Again, I did not feel like this card needed any additional bling etc, so I kept it at that.

There you have it – how you can enhance the backdrop of a few die cuts / paper shapes with stamping. Do give this idea a try and share your creations. Would love it if you’d tag me when you use some of these ideas and share your creations on social media. #spreadthelove
