Spellbinders + FSJ – Stamp of the month club – card idea 2

Hi friends, have you checked out the new Stamp of the Month from Fun Stampers Journey (Spellbinders) yet? It is just so beautiful. You can check out my earlier post using this month’s kit here.

For today’s card, I used a key and a lock image with a matching sentiment and combined these images with Spellbinders Large and Small Die of the Month kits from December 2018. {In case you are wondering, check out all the different ways to subscribe to these clubs in Supplies List section below.).

What I love about this large die of the month is that, it is a single die to create the main working skeleton of the flip card. How convenient!

Also, this kit comes with the dies that can cut the inside elements too.I used two sheets of patterned paper from Spellbinders card kit from last year and with these inside dies to form my main pieces for this flip card. Once all the pieces were cut and ready, I went around each piece and ink blended a little bit of Versa Color Raspberry ink to give it a little bit of depth.

I adhered my two stamped and die cut circles with a lock and key on the circles of the flip card. I also stamped a matching sentiment on the inside of the card, tucked beneath the circle. (Yes, trusted MISTI helped!). Then I assembled the card to get its basic working in place.

Somehow it felt like it was missing something, so I used the flower and leaves die cuts from same kit and added them on two corners. Just a few Nuvo drops and then I finally called this card done. Loved playing with all these kits together.

What do you think? Hope you like it :-)
