Spellbinders – Good Vibes – Card idea 5

Hi friends, today also I used the Shapeabilities Lovely Lilac Etched Dies Good Vibes Only collection by Stephanie Low but with stamped background.

I started with a black card base and a off-white panel that is slightly smaller. I die cut it using largest stitched rectangle die from Simon Says Stamp and stamped with the Dear Ruby background stamp from Spellbinders. I used Hero Arts – Artprint Brown dye ink for this stamping.

Then I did a lot of die cutting – I cut out some green and black leaves this time from So Very Generous dies (same Good Vibes Only collection). I also cut the outline from Lovely Lilac die from some watercolored cardstock. The inner outline die I cut out of gold foiled cardstock. Over the outline watercolor cardstock I added distress ink colors – from ink cubes as well as distress crayons. I used Mowed Lawn and Mermaid Lagoon colors with hints of Salty Ocean. I also tried to make the flower centers colored in Seedless Preserves. But they got covered with the black outline die cuts and chunky glitter.

I used two sentiment stickers – ‘be amazing’ and ‘xoxoxoxo’. These came from one of the older Spellbinders card kits.

After arranging everything over the brick wall dry embossed with some liquid glue and some foam squares, I added blobs of Martha Stewart chunky glitter in lapis lazuli and olivine colors to finish the card.

Do give this idea a try, friends and don’t forget to let me know how it turned out!
