Hi friends, hope you all are staying safe from the madness caused by weather. I am praying for you all.
Today I have a card for you that features Amazing Messages stamp set by Simon Says Stamp. This is a part of their latest STAMPtember 2017 release. Thank you, SSS for sending me this stamp set. I adore the word art in there and I’m sure I will be using it to create many more fun cards :-)
To make this card, I stamped the word art Fantastic on a piece of colorful patterned paper using Archival Black ink and fussy cut it. Next I dit cut a heart mask using the largest heart from MFT Stitched hearts dies. I laid the negative piece on top of a white card base in my MISTI and stamped the background stamp You Matter. I used two oxide inks for this stamping – worn lipstick and cracked pistachio. Both these came in Simon Says Stamp card kits.
I thought the background pattern was a bit too loud to adhere the word art directly on top. So I layered a vellum die cut heart in between the Fantastic word art and the background stamping.
To finish off, I added some sequins in matching colors and called it done.
