Thank you card series – 3

Hi friends, sometimes a single sticker or a single chip from an ephemera is so beautiful that you can build the whole card around that one focal point. That is exactly what happened with today’s card:

I used a beautiful wood-grain card base for my background. Since this is such a textured background, I used MISTI to stamp part of my sentiment ‘i appreciate all you do’. I used Hero Arts Burgundy ink to stamp this part. Using an orange plaid patterned paper from my stash, I die cut the word ‘thanks’ – both this die as well as the stamped sentiment are from Hero Arts Thanks stamp and die set. I attached it to the card base using some strong liquid adhesive – glossy accents.

The focal point chip came from from Pebbles Harvest collection in one of last year’s Simon Says Stamp card kits. I attached it to the cardbase using foam tape and called this simple, elegant project done.

Supplies List

For your convenience, I am sharing links to the supplies I’ve used or the ones you can use for making similar cards – click on the picture or link to go directly to the product. Wherever available, I have used affiliate links, which means when you make a purchase, I receive a small commission (at no extra cost to you) which I use to run this blog. I truly appreciate your support!

Warm Hugs and thanks for dropping by, ~Varada
