Thank you card series – 9

Hello friends, I have one more simple thank you card today. For this one, I combined several elements including a sticker, a banner / tag cut out of patterned paper, a die cut word and also a border.

Thank you card

I let the main bird sticker guide my other elements to make the cluster on this card. This sticker came from the Pebbles Heart of Home collection sticker sheet that came in Simon Says Stamp November 2017 card kit. I also used one of the tags that says “for you” from the patterned paper pack from the same kit. I cut a fish tail at one end to make it look a little like banner for some added interest.

Next I die cut the word grateful using Recollections pearl white cardstock. In real life this has a subtle but beautiful sheen to it.

To anchor all the pieces together I adhered one of the Martha Stewart borders from my stash. These are at least 4 years old. :-P

For creating some dimension and visual distance between these elements, I adhered the Martha Stewart border directly and foam mounted the bird + the ‘for you’ tag. I added glue only to the bottom of the word ‘grateful’, attached it to the ‘for you tag’ and left the top part floating. Love how it turned out.

Hope you liked this idea and give it a try.
