Using dies for hot foiling + felt flowers – with Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace die of the m

Hello, hello!! Happy Friday!! You guys know I love Amazing Paper Grace dies by Becca Feeken, right? And also that I love to experiment with things and use them differently. That’s exactly what happened with today’s card:

I trimmed a rectangle panel out of Neenah Desert Storm cardstock to be slightly smaller than a 5×7 card. On this panel, I hot foiled using the dies from Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace die of the month March 2020. I used the Champagne colored foil from Spellbinders. Love how it looks on Kraft cardstock.

Then I assembled the flowers – die cut using two shades of blue (Seafoam and Peacock shades from BenzieDesign), added flower stamens and in the center added a gold gem. For this card I used mostly hot glue and only a few pieces of foam tape.

For the sentiment, I used the die cut sentiment “Congrats” from this month’s kit and laid it over a strip of die cut white cardstock banner.

And for leaves, I used leaf dies from Spellbinders Blooming Rose die set designed by Marisa Job. I think these worked just perfect for this card.

When I made this card, I realized it has all but one things for Wedding Congratulations – something old (leaves die), something new (the newest APG die), something borrowed (the only thing missing) and something blue (flowers). I am hoping the “something borrowed” will be when someone borrows it to gift it to someone ;-)
