Wplus9 Modern Anemones

Hi friends, I am back today with one more shaped card using Wplus9 Modern Anemones. This one is a smaller, simpler card than the last one. {Click here to learn how to create shaped cards.}

I stamped the flowers with very little to no masking and used archival black ink and MISTI to do all the stamping.

For this one, I did some really simple (child-ish) coloring. I went over the lines on the flowers with Crayola Fine Line markers – gray and light pink. I did not color the petals themselves. For the leaves, I used the green marker from same set, but I colored entire leaves and shaded the bottom area just a tiny bit.

For sentiment, I used the illustrated acetate sheet by Illustrated Faith to cut out the word “blessed”. These printed acetate sheets came in the May 2017 card kit by SSS. I adhered it on top of the card by putting liquid adhesive behind the pink letters. Next I used Wplus9 Modern Petunias and masked the word “You’re” and stamped it using Black Archival ink. Finally, I added some clear droplets and finished the card.
