5 Cards using Dec 2019 Card kit from Spellbinders {and a Video}

Hello my crafty friends! Hope you all are doing good. I am here to share 5 card ideas using Dec 2019 Card kit from Spellbinders. This kit is called ‘Hey Foxy’ and it has some gorgeous muted tones of pink, green and gray colors. It also comes with a die to create a beautiful fox. The stamp set in here is perfect for some quick stamped cards and I am definitely creating more cards with the stamp as well as dies set. Here’s the full unboxing video of the kit, if you’d like to check it out.

For today though, I decided to make some quick cards using patterned papers, ephemera pieces and stickers. So, let’s get started with the cards.

Card 1:

For the first card, I went with a simple arrangement of patterned paper panel, a large ephemera piece saying “HAPPY” and a bunch of matching roses.

To add a touch of gold here and there, I added a think border on the side of my patterned paper panel with Tsukineko Golden Glitz ink, added a sentiment sticker with gold foiled “Happy Birthday” and also gold sequins.

Card 2:

For my second card, I used a wreath ephemera piece (popped out the inner part which has a coffee mug, and used only the outer floral part). To give some fun backing to the darling little fox, I adhered a die cut circle to the back of this wreath.

Rest was simple – foam mounted it, added a sticker for sentiment and also some sequins. I first adhered the sticker to a release paper stripe from the foam tape and cut banner ends to the sticker.

Card 3:

I love this kit’s ephemera pieces and I am especially partial to the girls with flowers in their hair. I created like a window on a patterned paper from where you can see this girl.

For the sentiment I used one of the ephemera pieces that say “Love” and added a die cut word “you” to make it say “Love you”. Finishing touches? Gold sequins from the kit! :)

Card 4:

One more delicate and girly love you card.

To give it that delicate base, I added a panel made from the wood-rings-patterned paper. I used one of the larger dies from Amazing Paper Grace April 2019 kit.

P.s. I loved making these card and I hope you will like them too ;)

Card 5:

Another card with the girl image as focal point. I think it will be great for a wedding card for a girlfriend, right?

The word ‘Congrats’ was cut using the Small Die of the month for Dec 2019 from Spellbinders. The Small Die of the Month this time is full of so many beautifully scripted word dies. I can totally see it becoming a staple in my stash.
