Hi friends, I have an almost one layer card to share today. I love dimension on my cards but sometimes, I just want to do something more flat and today is just one such card.
For this one, I used a fun technique for inking the stamps. Instead of doing dab-dab-dab on the ink pad, I rubbed the ink on top of the stamps to create those lines. Love how it added some subtle interest (almost made the images dimensional?) to the stamping.
I used two distress oxide inks – Worn Lipstick and Cracked Pistachio for this card.
I also combined the geometrical Lattice Grid background stamp using Barely Beige ink from Simon. Love this combination of geometrical + floral images together in the same design.
To finish off, I simply added a few enamel dots to center of each flower and called this project done.
I also created an identical card using Altenew Shades of Purple inks with Simon Says Stamp Key Lime ink.
