Bottle craft – Gift idea – Stocking stuffer

Okay friends, I have a confession – I am obsessed with the gorgeous Ornament Glimmer Plate + Die Set from Spellbinders. I just can’t stop using it.

For this one, I used a recycled Starbucks coffee glass bottle.

For prepping the surface of this bottle, I removed the sticker label then scrubbed + washed the bottle thoroughly with hot water and dish soap and let it air dry. After wrapping the bottom with some multi-colored yarn, I added a floral accent to it.

This floral accent is made with felt from Cricut Felt Sampler – Summer Sky. On top of the leaves / greenery I added Cricut green glittered vinyl and for the gold one, I used gold glittered paper. For the flower center on my red poinsettia, I used the smallest die from this month’s APG die kit. For the top, I added some greenery made using same dies + some red & gold jingle bells. I layered it on top of a circle cut out of gray felt and then hot glued the whole thing on top of the bottle cap.

I added some almond – milk chocolate kisses inside and my gift is ready to go! Quick and simple but beautiful.
