Card using SSS November 2015 card kit

Hi friends,

Today I have a really quick card for you, it took me just a few mins to put this together with the things that came in November 2015 card kit by Simon Says Stamp.

This month’s kit came with a lot of chips from the Pebbles Harvest collection. It includes two berry baskets with strawberries and blueberries.

I also had a stamp set called “Simply Scrumptious” which provided the perfect sentiment – “Thank you berry much” :-) This stamp set is from the beautiful Clearly Besotted stamp company of whom I am a huge fan!

The card kit also comes with 8 double sided patterned papers from the Pebbles Harvest collection. One of them reminded me of a table spread I had once seen. So that provided the inspiration for this card.

Thank you berry much card

First I cut the patterned paper at an angle so that would look as though it was spread on a table. To make it look more like some fabric than paper, I adhered lace trim to the edges using glue dots. I could not find the exact lace I used online. But I have listed a couple in the supplies which I think would work equally well.

Next I stamped “Thank you” on one of the berry baskets and “berry much” on the other one.

Finally I simply mounted everything on one of the pre-scored cards that comes with the kit using some foam squares and a little bit of glossy accents.

Here is one more closeup of all the dimension on this card. I layered one berry basket slightly behind the other to give it an appearance of being placed on the table.

Easy peasy, lemon squeezy, right?
