Hi friends, if you are like me, you love ephemera pieces, right? I know I do and I do love to make cards with them. Today I decided to combine die cut pieces with ephemera pieces to create a quick but beautiful card.
I used Spellbinders Large Die of the month for Dec 2019 as well as the coordinating Kaleidoscope Petals add-on for it (sold separately). Also all the ephemera pieces, the card base as well as the cardstock used for the die cuts used here are from this month’s card kit.
I love this month’s Large Die of the Month – it’s a set of several borders and I already shared a card yesterday using one of the sets. Today I used another set – only one layer + the two borders on either side – to die cut a lace-y border design. Along this border, I added my floral cluster with Kaleidoscope Petals die-cuts as golden leaves.
For the sentiment, I cut out a sentiment into two parts and gave each part a banner tail. This way I was able to break that one-line-long sentiment and fit it on two lines. A few gold sequins completed my card for today.
