Hello Bluebird | Snowflakes cards

Hi friends, I could not let this card making season go by without making a few snowflake cards. So today I used the cute snowflake dies from Hello Bluebird  to create two cards.

I started by die cutting a whole bunch of snowflakes – used a lot of scrap glitter / mirrored cardstock in gold and silver (white). Then I took a 6×6 paper with a vintage-y, snowflake-y design and cut out two panels from it. I ink blended on the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink and also added some white acrylic paint splatters on one of them.

Next I used spray adhesive on the back of my snowflakes and adhered them to each of the two panels and then adhered the two panels to two white card bases. I stamped my sentiments using MISTI and Hero Arts brown ink and as a final touch added matching gems from Pretty Pink Posh.

There you have it. My snowflakes cards for the season :-) Hope you like them…
