Layering Paper Shapes – Be-You-ti-ful

Hi friends, I have another card showing some ideas for layering paper shapes. I combined goodies from Spellbinders card kit and Altenew stamps for this card.

Layering Paper Shapes - Be-You-Tiful

The leaf die cut that you see here has been with me for several months now. I had stamped and die cut it from Altenew Remember This stamp & die set for some other project but decided not to use it there. Had saved it until now just like that. When I saw the flower image from Spellbinders card kit, I thought these two go together perfectly.

When I pop up a few images like the flower and leaf images here, I like to add some more similar images in the background. I picked the bud image and stamped it using Distress Ink Cracked Pistachio + Tsukineko Hint of Pesto ink for the leaves and Distress ink Fossilized Amber + Tsukineko Galaxy gold ink for the bud itself.

To add some more interest I stamped a few dot clusters in matching colors – Distress ink Fossilized Amber, Distress ink Mermaid Lagoon, Hero Arts Bubble Gum ink. I also added several enamels dots from my stash and rounded the top right corner.

Finally I adhered the star of the show – the sentiment banner ‘Be-You-ti-ful’ (which also came in Spellbinders card kit) – to complete this project.
