Layering Paper Shapes – Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day, my lovelies!

Again, sorry for my absence. I think I have the hosting and other tech-things under control for now. I am still watching things for a little bit. Fingers crossed!

While we wait, I could not let the Valentines Day pass by without leaving you a little love.

Layering Paper Shapes - 6

To make this card, I used a patterned paper from Spellbinders card kit and trimmed out a strip out of it whose width is slightly smaller than the flourish die (also from the kit). On one end, I used the flourish die and cut it out.

I also used the same flourish die and cut it out of a gold mirrored cardstock.

From the same gold mirrored cardstock, I die cut a banner with the banner dies that came in Oct’17 card kit. I also used a white cardstock to cut the smaller label using the nested label from the same kit.

Finally I assembled the card with some inlaid pieces and the labels mounted using foam adhesive. For the sentiment, I added a sticker from my stash and finished off the card with two gems (from Spellbinders Jan 18 card kit).

Hope you liked the card and will give this idea a try…
