Mini Accordion Album using journaling cards – from Spellbinders Card kit of the Month Feb 2020

Hi friends, I have one more quick and easy crafty project to share today. And just like my last post, this one also uses the super fun and colorful journaling cards from this month’s Spellbinders Card kit. Yes, it is a mini accordion album.

I used the white cardstock from this month’s card kit and cut it into half on the longer side. I scored it every 3.5 inches, which left 0.5 inch at the end on both pieces. I scored these in accordion style and used the 0.5 inch part on one of the pieces to attach the two together. I trimmed off the other 0.5 inch piece. If you want to make your album more bigger, you could attached additional folded pieces to this instead of cutting it off.

Next I laid out my journaling cards and also cut out pictures of my kids – this album was the Valentine’s day gift from us girls to Mr C. And he loved it! :)

For the front and back, I used two more journaling cards. Lastly, I added some pieces of ephemera here and there to embellish the pictures. And it was done!

There you have it. A quick, colorful and fun project that also makes use of the several paper goodies and pictures we keep hoarding collecting.
