Modern card with stamped succulents using Spellbinders + Fun Stampers Journey Stamp of the Month Feb

Hi friends, I am on a quest to try different colors, as well as techniques this year. So for the succulent / cactus stamp set from this month’s Spellbinders + Fun Stampers Journey Stamp of the Month kit, I decided to do something modern-looking. I know, it isn’t exactly my style, but as I said, I am into “new things” this year :) So, this is what I created:

I created an inlaid colorful panel and stamped the images on and around these inlays. I die cut my front panel with the two largest rectangle dies from the Hemstitch rectangle dies and from this panel, I cut out three irregular circles (using LDOM dies). I also used the same three dies to cut out three colorful circles – two shades of orange and one textured, light green one. I inlaid the colorful circles into the white cutout areas and temporarily adhered the whole thing to a sheet of release paper from older adhesive sheets.

Then I used Hero Arts Artprint Brown ink to do all the stamping, added double sided foam tape behind the panel and adhered it to a top folding card which is a very dark red color and this one came in the Christmas Wishes card kit from Spellbinders for Nov 2019. At the end, I added three rock like gems (also from the same kit).
