Hello friends, I have a beautiful yet easy card for you today. I used the Simon Says Stamp November card kit for this. This kit is sold out, but I will link to the individual supplies I used below so you can recreate the same card.
I took a black card base (one from the pack of blank cards I had picked up at my local Joann’s store) and on the front side dry embossed it using the Darice Flower Frenzy that came in the SSS kit. At the top, I added a piece of green ribbon and secured it with a glue dot below the knot. This ribbon came as part of packaging material in one of the Hero Arts’ My Monthly Hero card kits. :-)
Next I used one of the patterned papers from the SSS kit and cut out a circle using a die from the Hero Arts infinity circles dies. I stamped and heat embossed the tiny sentiments – muchas gracias and merci – from the Thankful Heart stamp set (part of the SSS kit) on a couple wood patterned hexagons on the left over piece. I also stamped “thank you” 3 times on an orange colored hexagon and cut out all three of these using craft knife.
I adhered everything together – hexagons using foam squares and the circle itself using scortape and finished off the card with some gem stones (not part of the kit).
Easy peasy, right? Here’s how all these layers and details look up close:
Love how it turned out!
